Hello and welcome to a new series, and what is going to be my bog standard survival series, although not entirely bog standard. I'm going to be playing a mod on the Technic Launcher called TerraFirmaCraft. you can download it from Technic's website.

TerraFirmaCraft aims to make survival far more realistic. It adds thirst, dirt and cobble fall, you cant mine trees straight away and the crafting system has been overhauled. It also aims to make survival a constant struggle so that even after you've got good gear, you still have to fight to live.

My idea for the series is that I'm only allowed to look up 1 crafting recipe from the wiki between each episode. that way I'll have to survive on my own merits and try to work out how to make stuff as much as possible before looking things up. In this first episode I am completely oblivious to any information regarding how to do stuff in this mod so I do what's instinctive.
