웃는 얼굴 캐릭터를 조작해 박스를 밀어 목표 지점에 옮기는 단순하지만 점점 트릭이 깊어지는 퍼즐 게임입니다.
플레이어는 상하좌우로 움직이며 박스를 한 칸씩 밀 수 있고, 모든 박스를 지정된 위치로 옮기면 해당 스테이지를 클리어할 수 있습니다.
게임은 챕터 단위로 구성되어 있으며, 각 챕터마다 새로운 규칙과 기믹이 등장해 단순 반복을 벗어나 색다른 플레이를 유도합니다.
1챕터는 기본적인 박스 이동 퍼즐로 구성되어 있으며, 방향과 이동 경로, 막힘 없이 밀 수 있는 조건 등을 파악하면서 퍼즐 감각을 익히는 데 집중되어 있습니다.
2챕터부터는 색상이 다른 박스들이 등장하며, 같은 색의 마크 지점에 각각 옮겨야 클리어됩니다.
3챕터에서는 자석처럼 다른 박스를 끌어당기는 특수 박스가 등장해 한 번 더 생각하는 퍼즐 구성이 필요해지죠. 이를 이용해 접근 불가한 박스를 끌어오거나 경로 차단을 위한 위치 제어도 가능해집니다.
전체적으로 미니멀한 그래픽과 심플한 구성이 특징이며, 잔잔한 BGM이 반복 플레이에 집중력을 더해줍니다.
다만 조작은 방향키를 지원하지 않으며, 레벨 재시작이나 빠른 이동 기능, 세이브 데이터 등의 인터페이스 면에서는 아직 개선의 여지가 있습니다.
특히 일부 사운드 설정이 없어 다소 불편하게 느껴질 수 있고, 4챕터는 아직 개발되지 않아 목록만 존재하는 상태입니다.
소박한 디자인 속에 숨겨진 규칙들을 차근차근 풀어나가는 재미가 있으며, 제한된 움직임 속에서 효율적인 해법을 찾는 퍼즐의 묘미가 살아 있는 작품입니다.

Minimalist Boxes is a charming yet tricky puzzle game where you move a smiling character to push boxes onto marked tiles.
Using simple up, down, left, and right movements, the goal is to align all boxes with their designated spots to clear each stage.
Each chapter introduces a new twist to the mechanics.
Chapter 1 is straightforward, focusing on basic box-pushing puzzles.
Chapter 2 introduces color-coded boxes and matching target tiles—now it's not just about positioning, but matching types as well.
Chapter 3 ramps things up with magnetic boxes that pull others in line when within range. These mechanics create clever scenarios that require both foresight and precision, especially when using one box to pull another or block movement paths strategically.
Though minimalist in appearance and sound, the game challenges your logic with increasingly complex setups.
It currently lacks some quality-of-life features like arrow key support, a quick-restart option, and full save consistency—especially noticeable in chapter completion tracking.
Also, while Chapter 4 is listed, it’s not yet developed.
Despite some rough edges, Minimalist Boxes offers a clean, focused puzzle experience that quietly demands smart moves and thoughtful solutions.
