붉은 캐릭터가 되어 미니어처 세계를 탐험하며 수돗물이 끊긴 원인을 찾아 떠나는 1인칭 어드벤처 퍼즐 액션 게임입니다. 겉보기엔 장난감 같은 그래픽이지만, 진행할수록 복잡하고 창의적인 퍼즐과 장치들이 기다리고 있어 꽤 본격적인 탐험의 재미를 제공합니다.
게임은 간단한 버튼 조작과 전투를 배우며 시작합니다. 상자를 옮기고 버튼을 눌러 장치를 작동시키는 기본 메커니즘부터, 점차적으로 새로운 능력을 얻으며 플레이 범위가 넓어지는 구조죠. 검을 들고 해골을 처치하거나, 박스를 활용해 퍼즐을 해결하고, 숨겨진 공간을 탐색해 능력 코인을 수집하며 캐릭터를 성장시킬 수 있습니다.
이야기를 따라가며 다양한 장비와 능력들이 해금되는데, 더블 점프, 큐브 생성, 총기류 등 탐험과 전투를 도와주는 스킬들이 꾸준히 추가됩니다. 전투와 탐험을 통해 얻은 골드는 상점에서 사용되며, 공격력, 체력, 스피드 증가 등의 업그레이드 외에도 새로운 기능을 구매할 수 있습니다. 상점은 진행에 따라 확장되며, 필드 곳곳에 숨겨진 배럴을 발견하면 추가 상품이 해금되죠.
특히, 수집 요소와 역추적 요소가 강조되어 있어, 초기에는 접근이 불가능했던 장소를 나중에 새로 얻은 능력으로 다시 탐험하게 됩니다. 다만, 맵에 마커 기능이 없어 어디에 무엇이 있었는지 기억하기 어렵고, 지도를 얻기까지 시간이 다소 걸린다는 점은 아쉬움으로 남습니다.
장난감 세계를 배경으로 한 Supraland는 단순한 그래픽 뒤에 퍼즐, 전투, 탐험 요소가 조화롭게 얽혀 있어, 색다른 1인칭 어드벤처를 찾는 플레이어에게 인상 깊은 경험을 선사합니다.

Supraland is a whimsical first-person adventure-puzzle game where you take on the role of a tiny red hero on a big mission—to find out why the village’s water has stopped flowing. Despite its toy-like visuals, the game is packed with cleverly designed puzzles, exploration challenges, and light combat that slowly evolve as you progress.
You’ll start by learning basic mechanics like pushing buttons, moving boxes, and swinging your sword at skeleton enemies. Along the way, you'll uncover hidden areas filled with coins and upgrade tokens that improve your character's abilities. From double and triple jumps to cube spawning and blaster weapons, the game gradually unlocks tools that expand both your mobility and puzzle-solving options.
Coins earned during exploration and combat are used in shops to purchase upgrades such as health boosts, damage increases, and new abilities. The shop inventory grows as you discover hidden barrels scattered across the map, adding new items to unlock.
Supraland encourages backtracking with its Metroidvania-inspired design—many early areas hide chests or secrets you can only reach later with new powers. However, the lack of map markers or a chest tracker can make revisiting feel disorienting, and the initial jump height feels a bit restrictive until you upgrade it.
Beneath its playful aesthetic, Supraland offers a surprisingly deep and satisfying blend of exploration, platforming, and brain-teasing puzzles. It’s a toybox of ideas built for curious minds and adventurous spirits.
