📙 I have a MiSTer! Let's try out a very varied bunch of Sega Mega Drive/Genesis games. Today I'm playing Namco's 'Rolling Thunder 2' from 1991, sequel to the cool 1986 arcade game. Next is Sega's ninja simulator 'Revenge of SHinobi' from 1989. Next we jump forward to 2017, with the Genesis port of Locomalito's ZX Spectrum-style platformer 'l'Abbaye des Morts'. Then we go back to 1990 and try out 'Rainbow Islands Extra', a straight port of the arcade game, with a weird 'Extra' mode where the cute sprites are replaced with some weird mechs and stuff. Finally, I play a few minutes of RPG 'Ys III' from 1991 without understanding the mechanics (which should be clear from the recording).

The MiSTer is a FPGA-based open source emulation system that emulates a large variety of computers, consoles and arcade games from the 1990s and older.
