In its lighter configuration this quad really gets up and goes! This is just the stock 2 cell LiPo. The motors and ESC's are actually rated for 3S power! If you want to see a test of that checkout FrequentFlyerRC, he tried it out. I may at some point but for now am more than happy with the stock battery's speed and lifting power for camera gear.

ABOUT THE CRASH:
What I was doing when it went all haywire was trying to manually flip the quad. I have now seen a video where TiggersRCreviews tried this and got the EXACT same result. SO DON'T TRY TO MANUALLY FLIP THE B3! Apparently the gyro just doesn't know how to cope with the cut throttle and quick direction change. When this happened I tried to recover and about half way to the ground realized what was happening and cut all throttle and held the red button to try and kill the motors completely before it hit. I don't think they did but at least they weren't trying to turn for too long afterward. It ended up just bending the prop that I noted in the video caption. Still flying great!
