The videos that I have seen of people flying the B3 with a gimbal have mostly been this particular gimbal. It's cheap, lightweight, and seems to work well for what you're paying. Those people had been powering the quad and gimbal both from the stock battery using a (usually homemade) adaptor to the stock battery balance plug. I didn't have those parts to solder together and thought I would try this route... spoiler alert, it didn't work out.
