Burning reports to Bright about the scuffles and general low morale of the team since the GP-02 was almost captured. With no known course on how to get back to the present time, a plan needs to be made. Bright calls for a meeting with the Preventers and Cenia(who has access to Lan Gran's intel network) to discuss their next plan. Below deck, the Wing boys share what they heard regarding a crew of Breakers with a transforming landship causing a ruckus by Fort Severn. On the Freeden, a rec room is being set up to give the pilots something to do in the future.

Tiffa's feeling better after her Newtype clash with Carris while Jamil ponders with Tex about Kihel's true identity, feeling it's no mere coincidence that she could be Dianna Sorrel - and if she is, then Jamil may have some beef with her... The Preventers meeting goes ahead, theorizing that the Earth they're on now was made this way due to Project Aegis failing in its intended task and scorched the land, which was made worse by the later wars with the Moon Race. The mechabeasts happened to lay low while the Turn A and similar machines possess nanomachines to self-repair any damages incurred, explaining their survival. The mountain cycles' machines were likely recorded from a certain point in time and backed up by facilities underground. It's all fascinating stuff, really. Amuro begins to postulate that the Alpha Numbers may as well stay in this timeline and help around where needed, but before the ramifications of that can be discussed... oof, is it getting hot in here or is it just me?

No, it's not just me as heat and carbon dioxide levels spike like crazy nearby along with a forest suddenly appearing in a barren wasteland. The Getter Team knows exactly what's happening... It's time for the Bat to take flight against his mortal enemy, the Getter Robo! Join me in a toast as we greet this fine general in combat.

'Twould seem that the Dinosaur Empire itself has been in hiding in this timeline since their defeat in Alpha 1 and wanted to strike unopposed, but didn't count on the Getter Team being alive as well. Still, General Bat is more focused than ever to fell his mutual foe, a sentiment Ryoma shares. Hayato worries that Ryoma's gonna jump the gun before assessing the situation, which is what exactly happens.

Predictably, Bat immediately counters Ryoma with a trump card, the Uran Spark! This deadly bolt of lightning causes a inverted reaction to the Getter Rays in the machine, bringing harm to the Getter Team. When Hayato severs the connection to the Getter Rays, it disables the machine instead, leaving it unable to change form or even split apart! This Bat sure has some claws...! The Alpha Numbers rush to their aid immediately.

The Getter Team is soon rescued and Bat beats a hasty retreat, though shamed that he must do so. As our heroes escape, an unknown machine appears and plants something called "Machine Cells" to purify the distorted land. Hmm...

Garrod and Roybea are naturally very puzzled about this new foreign enemy they just faced and understandably want answers from the Alpha Numbers, who they figure know much more than they let on. Usso is tired of keeping secrets and comes clean to the others that the Numbers are from the past borne from one of the causes of the Black History, only lying low to avoid trouble. But now the situation has forced their hand. Make no mistake, they do still intend to help out the future folk if they're able to.

Ryoma thanks Hayato for the quick decision to sever the Getter Ray connection despite it being against orders and apologizes for being a dunce. Hayato brushes it off but muses to himself that he'll desert if Ryoma goes rogue again. Loran approaches Ryoma and informs him that Dianna plans to leave the care of the Numbers and head back to the Moon; now that she's learned about the Numbers' origins and their resolve to continue helping the cause she wants to do the same. Her goal - to meet with the leader of the Innocent, Arthur Rank, to discuss peace talks between them and the Moon Race.
