Closer and closer, I catch up to all of my first LP projects back when I had more free time but way less knowledge about how to do these videos. Xenosaga's one of the last ones. This series is one I *actually* have unfinished business with in regards to playing these on camera.
This time will be different.
Somewhere in Kenya, a Dr. T. Masuda uncovers an ancient golden monolith from an age far gone, then a whole lot of future stuff in 4000 years happened. Now we're in space. There's battleships, artificial humans, mech suits, even nerdy scientist ladies who are socially challenged! My kind of future! We take the eyes of one Shion Uzuki, the young Chief Engineer of Vector R&D's KOS-MOS Project. Her job's to build a fully-functional and lethally logical battle android to combat the encroaching alien force known only as the Gnosis, which also happens to look like a teenage girl, because of course. It seems to be business as usual for our plucky heroine as she performs a routine test to see if her baby KOS-MOS is up to battle spec, but then some strange phenomena begin to occur. She sees a mysterious girl in her dreams and visions, is called out by the golden monolith seen in the opening, and even has to interact with other people! Oh, the horror!
Oh and the Gnosis show up to massacre the ship she's working with. They want the monolith thing too, the Zohar. Don't Mess. With the Zohar. Shion's not capable of fighting them alone, but once KOS-MOS decides to wake up for real combat data, it's party time. Just be careful who gets caught in KOS-MOS' line of fire - *no one's* getting in the way of her mother.
