This is a custom Mario Kart 8 Deluxe course set in a volcano being repurposed for some sort of geothermal energy. The course features split paths, conveyors, and some interesting applications of antigravity and lava columns.

This, as you may recognize, is the old Metal Mountain project being worked on in the defunct "Making a Mario Kart Track" series from almost 2 years ago. I've been slowly picking away at this course off and on since the cancellation of that series. I'm aware some may be disappointed that the series is not resuming, but honestly I realized a big reason why the course got put aside in the first place was that the way I was building the track in that series wasn't how I actually build tracks which is to say I just pick away at random bits until it finally ends. However, that doesn't really make for a watchable video series, I opted to just press on while keeping the series dead.

There's some definite issues with this first release, and you can see the list on the Gamebanana post, but honestly after nearly 2 years of looking at this thing I just need to get some version of it out and there was no sense in holding it back just for that.
