M270B1 is a British Army upgrade, similar to the A1, but it also includes an enhanced armor package, which gives the crew better protection against IED attacks

British Army GMLRS firing on deployment to Afghanistan. This fire mission was sent from FOB (Forward Operating Base) Edinburgh.

A very impressive piece of equipment. Wouldn't like to be on the other end of it....Sadly the people at the end of this fire mission most probably deserved it :-)
