This is a response to Dreamcast Guy on unlocking character in Smash Ultimate,

not so much about Jason Schreier blocking Dreamcast Guy (and I think it's a coward for him to do so in the first place, but that's only my opinion), but how he thinks it's a negative to unlock 60+ characters in Smash Ultimate because it's a grind.

I think it's great that Sakurai still embrace of unlocking characters rather than immediately going to DLC, I don't understand why suddenly it's a bad thing. "Back in my days", that how you get more characters in a fighting game, you get more replay value, I guess it's different know in 2018 and I give my thoughts and response.

Granted, yes, by the 8th or 9th character, unlocking them gets difficult to a point that there was an update to lower the difficulties when fighting a character to unlock them.
