This is part of a series I'm doing where I collect the Hunter Medals in both Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2. My goal is to find efficient methods of doing so, and to give other achievement hunters an idea of what to do.

X5 is the game on the docket this time. This playthrough is sloppier than others cause I routed it partially on the fly. Had a few problems along the way here. But I'm surprised the Eclipse Cannon was not one of them. There seems to be a consistent method with Rookie Hunter mode.

I do not recommend using this video as a walkthrough if you're a beginner. The easier method at the beginning would be to let the cannon fire naturally, and get 6 game overs in Kraken's stage to get your first boss to level 9 if you fight them with Zero.
