Today's new mobile suit is the Zeta Plus A1, and I've been lucky enough to get it! (Twice, even!)
I've been wanting to play around with a transformable MS, so that was a pretty nice surprise!

At level 1, the Zeta Plus A1 is a 600-cost Raid suit, it is focused on mobility and has some nice tools at both close and mid range.

Its main weapon is the Hyaku-Shiki Beam Rifle, staggering with each shot and being able to fire four times before reloading.
As for melee, it has two Beam Sabers and can do a three-hit combo, their range isn't spectacular, but the damage is fairly good!
After that, you have the Vulcans, pretty standard, but always good to have to finish off enemies and kill infantry.
It also comes with hip-mounted Double Beam Cannons with a decent amount of power behind them, you do need to be immobile to fire, and you can only fire three shots before overheating them, thankfully they do recharge fairly fast.

That's already pretty decent, but in addition to that, the Zeta Plus A1 can transform! It then becomes quite fast and can easily reach high areas, but do be careful not to overextend and find yourself isolated and surrounded by enemies! In Waverider form, it can use the Beam Rifle, which works the same as normally, and the Double Beam Cannons, those alternate fire in this form, so they deal a bit less damage per shot, but also heat up slower, and if you happen to ram an enemy while boosting, you'll damage them too, which is always fun! One gripe, however, transforming always equips the Beam Rifle automatically, no matter its ammo or even if it's reloading, which can mess you up.
Transforming consumes no boost, but returning to normal does, so keep that in mind, you can adjust your course after transforming but before touching the ground again, but it'll consume more boost.
