The final day approaches, and Sumire contacts us at 3:40 to go to her room where her resolve to face Maruki is strenghtened once more, causing her Persona to transform into Ella and lean the Masquerade skill, causing Severe Physical damage to one foe twice, nice, but she won't get much time to use it...
After we return to Leblanc, Maruki contacts us, and we meet him at Leblanc, with Akechi joining in the conversation since he is quite involved, and we give our enemy his calling card. Then we have to choose our future one last time, and by choosing to oppose Maruki, Akechi awakens to his final Persona, Hereward, and learns the Rebellion Blade skill, an Almighty attack dealing extra damage to downed foes, not much chance to use it, but still, may as well have it!

Then at 21:00, the final day is upon us, and we enter Maruki's Palace one last time, with the very epic I Believe accompanying us towards our final confrontation!
Maruki himself fights alongside his Persona, Azathoth, and tentacles that bestow buffs and supports upon him. These tentacles have weaknesses, allowing you to use Baton Pass, so try to exploit that to weaken Maruki or Azathoth. Once either is low enough on HP, Azathoth will get a second form, and will gain some new attacks. It'll also place some restrictions over your party's actions periodically, so you'll have to deal with these, and the tentacles will switch affinities between turns, keep exploiting their weaknesses to perform some Baton Passes and defeat either Maruki or Azathoth, doing the latter will leave Maruki vulnerable at 1 HP to end things.

But as a good final boss, Maruki doesn't just have one form, thankfully you are fully healed as Azathoth transforms into Adam Kadmon for a very straightforward fight, just beat up Maruki, he's got low HP and not much strategy.

The last phase is really just scripted, so endure a few turns and you'll get to end things once and for all!
