Time to tackle the presence that haunts Mementos at last! We came across The Reaper a few times, but now it's time to take him on! It's a pretty powerful foe, with the ability to use any element, physical and almighty attacks, to instakill your party, and use Concentrate to make its potent attacks even more potent! It has no weakness and its high stats make it difficult to pierce his defense, but there are a few tricks that can help...

The first one is pretty odd, but if you let The Reaper ambush you, it'll only get one action per turn instead of two, making things much more manageable.
A second trick is that if you cast Tetrakarn, Makarakarn or Life Wall, The Reaper will not bother playing by your rules and instead loop Concentrate and Megidolaon, a powerful combination, but a predictable one, if you combine that with him only getting one action per turn and you can just defend and heal up every other turn.
The last trick is that despite it not being a weakness of his, Almighty attacks do deal increased damage, this includes the Megido line of spells or unique skills like Black Viper, but also Showtimes!

So my strategy? I went in there with a Persona that has Megidolaon and Almighty Boost (Messiah Picaro is a free DLC Persona with both, if you don't want to bother with the randomness of Network Fusion), Akechi who also has Megidolaon, and Ann with High Energy to bestow Concentrate on both Joker and Akechi. The fourth party member can be whoever you want, Morgana and Makoto would be great choices to keep everyone healthy, but I went with Haru.
The basic idea is to buff the party, debuff The Reaper and spam Megidolaons boosted by Ann's High Energy, but things don't always go as planned! Still, a fairly easy fight with the right preparations.
