With the obstacle out of the way, it's time to return to Maruki's Palace, and boy is it a long one! So let's timestamp some stuff.

15:12 is when I find an access to a hidden room with a chest containing a weapon for Akechi and the first Will Seed of this Palace.
At 18:45, we end up in a room containing a part of Maruki's past, the day he awakened to this power of his...
42:10 is when Morgana feels the second Will Seed, although getting to it takes a bit more work...
At 47:10, we get another glimpse of the Gentle Madman's past, as he talks about his research's lack of funding with Shibusawa...
51:09 is when I start making my way to the second Will Seed.
At 54:42, we reach an exam room, and only finish making our way through it at 01:54:30! It could've been much faster if I'd just followed a guide, as talking to everyone isn't mandatory, but I wanted to showcase all the dialogue, it could definitely be boring to watch though.
02:13:46 pits the Phantom Thieves against Surt, as you can guess, Fire is useless against him, but so is Elec, while Nuke and Phys are resisted, in return, you'll endure Fire, Nuke and Physical attacks, no weakness to exploit, so bruteforce your way through the fight.
02:19:03 marks the moment my braincells finally work together and I notice the way to the locked room containing the tape we need to progress, and we watch it at 02:22:43, this time it's about the use of his power on Sumire...
At 02:29:38, we reach a new area full of puzzles, I get lost a bit too, but eventually, at 02:46:52, I reach the end... and turn back to grab the third Will Seed, which I reach at 02:50:15, it's guarded by a Fafnir, which should be a formality to deal with at that point, and we grab that Will Seed once he's out of the way! Then it's time to make our way back to the end... and after getting lost a bit more, we're back by 02:58:10, find one last tape at 03:00:00, witness Maruki's actual awakening, and fight Maruki's last guardian, Siegfried. Immune to Phys, resists Gun and Ice, and uses Phys and Elec against you, should be a formality at this point.
And after that, we reach the Treasure and leave the Palace... all that's left is the calling card...
