Modern Warfare 3 Spec Ops - Vertigo Veteran Difficulty Walkthrough - Best Strategy

If nobody else's Veteran Walkthrough for this mission worked for you, try this one! For me, this was the hardest Spec Ops mission to complete on veteran difficulty to date. It was even more difficult than the "Flood the Market" mission. Below is a detailed walkthrough.
This mission is easier on veteran difficulty if you do it solo, as you can go faster, and do not have to worry about your teammate getting downed. Also, during the roof sequence try to conserve your frag grenades and flashbangs, as you will need them when you first get to the ground. Also, in this mission, the enemy AI can shoot your claymores.
First, run over to the right side and place claymores in a line, to hold off enemies from hiding over there. Take out the choppers, and proceed to hide behind that box. Make sure you do not fall off as you are close to the edge of the roof here. I find this spot to be the best as there are no walls near you, so you will not take splash damage from rockets, and the AI will have a tough time getting a grenade near you. Keep picking off enemies as they spawn, and watch the far left and right corners for enemies, as this is the only place where you are exposed. Watch for enemies running up at you. Make sure to shoot down all the enemy helicopters, especially the one with the juggernaut. After a while you will get a care package with a parachute. Before taking it, make sure that you clear the roof of enemies. Take out your rocket, and jump for it! Once you get to the bottom, immediately run to the left driveway and crouch against the left wall. If there are enemies in front of you take them out, unlike I did, and I almost got killed doing it. This spot is the best because for some reason as of 7/27/12, there is a glitch that will prevent the dogs that come after you from finding you, and they will not come down there, which will let you pick them off easily. Now, use your flash grenades, throw them over the fence, and run quickly to behind the ammo crate. Get more ammo, toss grenades and shoot rockets down range. These enemies are well dug in, and have great accuracy, so try the best you can to flush them out. Once you are sure that you got all of them, run up the left side with your rocket out, and once you get past the orange barrier, a chopper will spawn. This one will shoot back at you so take it out immediately. Run back to get some ammo, and push up again. Once you get past the black car, another chopper and a wave of enemies will come after you. Shoot a few rockets, and cross your fingers that they hit the chopper before it starts firing rockets back at you! Now clear out the remaining enemies and move up. Once you get close to the finish line/smoke a few more suicide bombers will run out. Shoot them, wait for the bombs to go off, and run to the finish. Congratulations! You just beat this PIA of a mission. If it did not work, try again. You have to be lucky here, as in other missions, especially "Flood the Market." I assure you that this is the best strategy available for this mission. If you need more help, leave a comment, and I would be glad to assist!
