You may have seen the knight Sparkletrout printed the other day. It was a freebie offered up by Adamant Arsenal, who are gearing up currently for a kickstarter campaign with modular knights as well as modular plague warriors.
In addition to the knight he painted, there is a Halloween model available on Adamant Arsenal's My Mini Factory page, and a scifi flavored model for subscribers to the Makers Cult.
I got a chance to print up a few extra samples (as well as those freebies) and everything really is nice and modular. If you're in the market for knightly knights with a bit of a grimdark vibe (or a bit of weaponry inspired by Monster Hunter) I think these would certainly work for you!
Considering the sheer amount of options they've got coming, this is a campaign I'm quite excited about.
The only real issue I can see is the size- they're quite large, and I know that's a turn- off for some people out there.
My hope is to see some optional bits to print to round these models out- capes, scabbards, furs, trinkets, pouches, ammunition, and those types of items. That's about the only thing missing.
I'm sure I'll be getting these painted up with Sparkletrout soon, and I'll be sure to post a link to the campaign when it goes live!
