Let's print some figures from Atlan Forge!
This is a video I've been wanting to make for a bit now.
I remember when I first saw Atlan Forge's models and being intrigued, but with a somewhat limited budget to throw at STL models on a monthly basis I had to wait. When I saw that myrmidon captain in all his resplendent glory stomping on some chaos loser I knew I couldn't resist any more.
The guys in the heavier armor are BIG. I consider that a positive. Terminator style armor should be big! If you worry about too many duplicate figures, have your fears assuaged by the fact that there are plenty of options available for the entire figure, from head to toes.
I'm also quite liking that while there's definite analogies to GW figures, there's still bits there to make them a bit different- I haven't had a chance to print out much of their factions' basic infantry but they've got some unique touches to them. The overtly Greek themes on the Minoan armor are a cool touch we don't see very often in a scifi setting either, so that's cool.
Plus you know it's a matter of time before I get their cyber t rex and bull dreadnoughts printed and painted...
