Modular Launch Pads v2 Dev Demo: Pole Tower for the American Launch Stand
0Something new added for the American Launch Stand(s), but will be useable with the other pads and stand: a pole "tower" inspired by that used for the Athena II rocket at SLC-46 (Athena is one of various civilian launchers derived from former Peacekeeper ICBMs). It's literally just this pole with 2 umbilical hoses at the top, but you don't need to stick with that way...add more umbilicals, add side clamps and change the color! :-)
The pole tower has 9 height options and 8 colors (no red&white), and is limited to 18.6m in height so it's useable with the Tier 1 launch pad in career. Both this pole tower and the small truss tower have had "Tier 1" added to their names to make this clear upfront.
This pole tower as well as the revised American Launch Stand parts are now on the Github, AlphaDev branch, in the AlphaDev folder.
