Modular Launch Pads v2 Dev Demo: WIP American Launch Stand and Tower
0The American Launch Stand (round version; there will be a rectangular one as well) is progressing well: All the core size configurations are in place as well as the hold-down bolts.
I have now added a service tower with 4 height options and separate "stretchy" drop-hose umbilicals, i.e. adjust the deploy limit slider to make them shorter or adjust to different tank sizes and tower positions.
The umbilicals have retracting end connectors, and I'll add a bit of bounce to the end of the drop animation.
The tower is limited to 18m max height due to the 20m height limit for the Tier 1 launch pad in career mode.
Last major addition will be integrated side clamps as an alternate option...or use them with the bolts as well.
