Modular Launch Pads v2 Dev Demo: WIP Rectangular Launch Stand
1Now working on the rectangular companion to the round American Launch Stand, simply called the Rectangular Launch Stand. It's not a full-size rectangular size, I realized that was rather silly since it would be too much like the full-size pads, so this is a short rectangle shape. It's big enough to handle the Atlas from Bluedog Design Bureau (1.875m core diameter), which was the intention from the begining. It cannot handle full tri-core rockets of a given size, unless the cores are small ones. Rockets with 2 small SRBs or 4 *really* small SRBs will fit.
The hold-down bolts and clamps come in just two configurations each, one 2x and one 4x 45-degrees.
The 1.875m size configuration is done, this was a little test of it. :-)
