Monkey Plant Retro Game on Windows PC Incl. ZX Spectrum Graphics. Richard Langford and Andy Green
Featuring retro style graphics that also includes a Speccy loading screen and mockup Speccy level screens on the Monkey Plant main menu. Aside from the various themed levels with many different style robots that have different abilities and end of theme bosses, the game also features two retro style arcade mini games!
As Melvin the Monkey, stop the robots feeding their ferocious Plant weapon good food (bananas, oranges etc), by feeding their ferocious Plant weapon bad food (fish bones, metal cogs etc)
"The Speccy Bit" I mention in the video is actually the bonus game that is part of Monkey Plant and accessed by collecting the "MONKEY" letters. "March of the Robots" is a different game altogether and an unlockable freebie. It's unlocked and playable when you beat the first boss in the main game.
All thanks to the genius that is Richard Langford for bringing Andy's game idea to life! He coded everything and did the main game graphics.
ZX Spectrum pixel graphics by Andy Green.
It runs on most basic PC's with Windows. Doesn't require fancy graphics cards etc.
Monkey Plant has just been released and it's available to download for Windows PC here: http://www.langfordproductions.com/
Someone, please, do a ZX Spectrum version, or a Spectrum Next version!!!!
