I like to call it the Umbrella Bird.

Japanese folklore, there is a type of Yokai called Karakasa-Obake (One-Legged Umbrella), and its normal that over here in Asia we are quite obsessed with our umbrellas (or some like to call it parasols) as well.

To quote Rihanna's song : "You can stand under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh"... This is one monster that you really don't want to stand under!

Its Capcom's second best-selling series following Resident Evil and almost reaching 20 years old. In fact, fans of the series are hearing rumours that a new sequel will be announced in conjuction of their anniversary (around March) next year.

My Initial Take (After playing for 30 hours, former Monster Hunter World player) : Monster Hunter Rise is much brighter and has more human NPC to keep the environment lively.

Progression is a nice pace and less stressful, perfect for those looking to ease into the series. I also have to say playing it on PC gives you a slightly better frame rate stability and the game is designed in a way that combat feels much more quicker and you really need better muscle memory to beat the bigger ones late game.
