Monster Hunter World - Part 16 - Finding the Rathalos
0Hey everyone and welcome back to Monster Hunter World.
We have travelled back to Astera to inform everyone what we have learned whilst we have been out in the Rotten Vale.
We travel back out to the Ancient Forest on an expedition as there may have bee some strange activity there lately. Together with the handler we follow some tracks leading us to the top of the tree at the highest point in the Ancient Forest. Here we are confronted by a monster known as the Rathalos.
This creature it red in colour and very dangrous, it can fly and breathe fire. This is a massive problem for us and the people of Astera. Whilst running away from the Rathalos we stumble through the trees and eventually find someone who seems to be one of the first wyverian. They give us some information on some monsters that need to be defeated. These two monsters are the Rathalos & Diablos.
We know we are close to the Rathalos so we decide to hunt it down whilst we are next to it. We follow our fireflies that lead us straight to the monster. As the Rathalos can fly it can be a nightmare to get a good hit on so we need to try and mount the monster and knock it to the floor. If we are hit by the fire that the Rathalos shoots out of its mouth then we will need to roll around on the floor until the burning effect is removed. Another effect the Rathalos has is poison, to get rid of this effect we will need to drink the antidote before our health reaches zero.
The Rathalos is a strong monster and manages to knock us out returning us to camp, you are able to have a number of fails each mission, if this number is exceeded then the mission will be failed.
