0This is UFONmans full STORY playthrough of BASE Monster Hunter World game. I will also be doing all the LOW RANK & HIGH RANK OPTIONAL quests, and also completing most of the BASE game SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS (except for one). You might be thinking why play this when there's Monster Hunter Wilds coming out (or released already). That is exactly the reason, because Wilds is relatively similar to this and can be considered a spiritual successor/follow-up to MHW (better late than never, amirite????). I have played this before and spent a lot of time hunting years ago, so I know "stuff"... but I am in no way an expert or actually very good at the game. I will be following this up with Iceborne expansion (master rank quests) after the base game playthrough. Playing on PS4 controller and the Steam version.
As a reminder: Since I actually want to experience the game and story again like it was in 2018, I will be checking all the story and lore AND only using the appropriate level of the gear (not using the Iceborne expansion gear, just base game low/high rank stuff... okay, clutch claw too, since it's kinda hard to ignore completely). So expect lots of snooping and looking around, pretty much how a completionist would play. If that isn't your cup of tea, you shouldn't watch. English commentary and, like all of my playthroughs, there's going to be lots of swearing and cursing, so don't watch if you have a problem with that.
