Monster Hunter World - Part10 - Fighting Zorah Magdaros
1Hey everyone and welcome back to Monster Hunter World.
We have finally managed to defeat all of the monsters that were standing between us and Zorah Magdaros. Together we all set out to prepare the walls that we will be defending against Zorah Magdaros. Everyone works hard to get everything together and by day break everything is ready to go.
After some time our fireflies go crazy as the earth begins to shake, Zorah Magdaros appears right on track. We send out a flare for other hunters to come and help against this monster. We have to use the cannons to weaken Zorah Magdaros but we first have to load them with up to 5 cannon balls. We also have to position the cannon's as they can miss.
Zorah Magdaros approaches the first wall so we use the binder to tie it down, this keeps Zorah Magdaros still for a short amount of time and allows us to deal a lot of damage. Unfortunately it is not enough and Zorah breaks through the first wall. We all have to regroup quickly to the next phase. Being a hunter we jump on to Zorah Magdaros back.
We have to look for magma cores on the back of Zorah, this will help to weaken the monster and hopefully allow us to capture it. There are 3 cores that we need to try and destroy but we have to wait for Zorah Magdaros to move before we can reach all of them.
Whilst on Zorah Magdaros back we are also able to collect some valuable materials. Even after we defeat the magma cores it is not enough damage and we watch as Zorah approaches the next barrier. Binders are used again to tie Zorah down but another monster has landed on Zorah's back. We need to be extremely careful here, this is the mystery monster that a few people have been talking about. Could it be protecting Zorah as it is also attacking the binders?
A character for the first fleet shows up to help us fight against this new monster forcing it to leave. However, Zorah managed to break loose breaking through the second line of defence and continuing on its path.
We all head back to Astera to see what our next options are. Check back next time to see if we can follow Zorah Magdaros tracks.
