Genshin Impact - Part 87 - Travelling to Inazuma
1Hey everyone and welcome back to Genshin Impact.
We learn that Beidou has prepared everything needed with her crew to set sail to Inazuma after we won the Crux clash. We head over to Beidou ship and get ready to enter the dangerous waters to Inazuma. The waters around Inazuma are filled with storms but we have nothing to fear with the Crux fleet.
After a long journey we arrive at the shores of Inazuma. We are greeted there by a a male character that Beidou seems to know. They are introduced as Thoma and has been a tarde partner with Beidou for some time. Thoma knows about us and everything we have done for the other nations, so he is very excited to meet us. Beidou leaves us with Thoma as we need to get registered to be allowed to enter Inazuma.
We head to the boarder to get registered, Thoma already has some entrance papers prepared for us and we are able to enter safely. There is another process we need to follow to be able to stay on the lands of Inazuma. There are so many steps that need to be followed, it is very strict compared to other nations. Whilst applying to stay on the island of Inazuma we are told it will be 1 million mora each. We can see how hard it must be to live here. Thoma is able to get the price down to 600 mora as he is well known around the area. Thoma will do favours for others and in return they will help him when needed.
Anyone who is not from Inazuma are seen as an outlander and could have some problems whilst here. Thoma sends us to speak with some of the other outlander to see if we are able to help them in any way. By speaking with Kurisu we can see that all outlanders are having a hard time paying to stay here. Everything is made harder for them and they neve have anything to spare. Kurisu tells us that the way they pay taxes has been changed and now it can only be paid with crystal marrow. There is only one vender that they are able to buy from and the price keeps going up and up. We agree to help in anyway we can. We speak to the trader selling the crystal marrow to see if we can come to an agreement but they seem unwilling to help. We head back to Thoma to tell him what is going on.
We speak to Thoma about the trader and he is able to tell us some truths about them. They were originally born in Mondstadt and worked in Liyue so we might be able to use this to our advantage. We head back to speak with the trader again and remind him of home. We hand over a windwheel aster to help him remember his home town. We also hand over a Jueyun chili to help him remember how life was in Liyue. Eventually the trader tells us about what is going on and how he came to selling the crystal marrow. It seems that it is all a plot to scam the outlanders out of money. We need to find some evidence so we can prove that this is happening.
We have to follow the person behind this to see if we can find anything to use as evidence against them. Whilst folloowing them we need to be very quiet and not be seen. We follow them to the beach and see them burying something. Once they have left the area we dig it up to check it out. Its a book filled with names of all the transactions that have been happening. We head back to Kurisu and explain everything that has been going on.
As all this information comes out we see how the outlanders are treated by some of the soilders of Inazuma. Thoma is able to sweeten up the guards and they leave. This event has really helped out the outlanders in this area. Even if they do not have the best living conditions they will now be able to have a comfortable life.
