Special Note: I had 95% of these shortcuts figured out before I posted my first video on this particular circuit race. The problem was a respawning issue making the shortcut slower than just running the race normally so I just shelved the idea until now.
Last night I was going to see if I could lower my time even more and I noticed a path by a ramp I hadn't bothered to test previously and wouldn't you know it that was the key to my respawning problem!
Once that problem was solved, I optimized the shortcut even more by skipping the bridge and going straight to the waypoint through the water/village which proved to be even faster than my original route by roughly 5 seconds.
There is a slightly faster optimization than what I recorded in the video but I'm keeping that little secret to myself because the respawn location can vary which means it needs more testing!
Also, someone in Toucan's "Live Stream" kept mention something about another player finding this shortcut through water/village. I already knew about this shortcut but had no success of making it faster. I'm fairly certain I know who he was referring too but the leaderboard lap times don't reflect that do they!
