Moon Cresta is a fixed vertical scrolling shoot-'em-up game released by Nichibutsu for arcades in 1980. Incentive Software published many ports of Moon Cresta including one to the Commodore 64 in 1985. The player begins the game with a small spaceship armed with a single laser cannon. After successfully completing waves of alien attacks, the player gains stages to the ship adding more lasers.
