More Beautifully Detailed Off-Road Suspension Testing in BeamNG.drive | 0.21 Rock Crawlers Update
Taking a look at the intricately detailed suspension in BeamNG.drive 0.21 on Hirochi Raceway's Rock Crawling Course with max graphics settings. Featuring the Gavril D35 'SuperPig' and D-15 Off-Road, and the Ibishu Hopper Crawler. Making full use of the camera collision mode in orbit camera with relative camera and the visibility options of the Vehicle Customization menu to show off the highly realistic suspension simulation in BeamNG during aggressive rock crawling and height drops. Max graphics were used throughout when showcasing and testing the off-road suspensions of these rock crawling trucks. The control arms to the wheels, the different axle and suspension types, the hydraulic bump stops, they're all realistically simulated.
The SuperPig has back and front 4-link live axles. The Hopper Crawler has front and rear live axles with long travel coilovers and bypass shocks but no air bump stops. The D15 Off-Road has rear 3 link live axle suspension and front independent suspension. All the crawlers have unique driveshafts for improved clearance and lockable differentials. The rally cars have unique rally coilovers, some dedicated to gravel or tarmac, with independent suspension and sway bars.
