It's time to try Interloper. Why? I have 500 hours in The Long Dark, I beat As the Dead Sleep comparatively smoothly, and my current Stalker run is at 250 days and counting. It's a big shout for someone who only started playing Stalker back in November, but it feels like I owe it to myself to take the step up and try the game at its hardest (base) difficulty.

The feeling of mastery over the Escape the Darkwalker challenge was fun while it lasted, but this stream brought me back down to earth. The first couple attempts fell victim to bad RNG in terms of weather, wind, and gear condition -- as well as questionable decisions by me. The third run actually made it all the way to the end ... only for the run to fall victim to something even a can of magic spraypaint can't fix: a game-breaking bug.
