Morgan Freeman is banned from this country
0On a list of 963 Americans barred from entering Russia, actors and directors Rob Reiner and Morgan Freeman were listed. The list was made public on Saturday by the Russian foreign ministry.
Along with all House members, corporate executives, think tank leaders, previous politicians and bureaucrats, and other individuals, the list also includes President Biden, Vice President Harris, and other Biden administration officials.
The items on the list for Reiner and Freeman appear to allude to their cooperation with The Committee to Investigate Russia, a non-profit devoted to preventing Russian meddling in U.S. elections.
The organisation, which was founded in 2017, has Reiner on its advisory board, and Freeman provided the voiceover for one of its videos.
In the video, Freeman declared that "we have been attacked," alluding to Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election. The war is ongoing.
