This is a demonstration of Shao Kahn in the Sega 32X version of Mortal Kombat 2. Read on below for more information...

Shao Kahn is the final boss in the game. He is an unplayable character.

The Sega 32X version of Shao Kahn in MK2 is pretty much the same deal as the Genesis/Mega Drive version of him, which is not surprising considering the 32X is just an add-on for the console. As usual the LP, HP, HK and BLOCK buttons are flaw-free, only the LK button causes problems if you release it. There are still the specific moves that will freeze the game.

Because it is more lenient on freezing, it means we can get to see a lot more of what happens with certain button combinations. The fact that he can hurt his opponent also means technically you can play through a 1P-game with him, as long as you don't make a "mistake"...

===== About 32X MK2 =====
The 32X version of MK2 shows a number of improvements, mainly in the graphics department. The lifebars were made to look closer to the arcade lifebars, and the use of the colour palette is much better overall. More voice samples were added, such as the announcer calling out character names.

However there are still a lot of missing animations (jump kicks, etc.), and the music/sound is exactly the same as the Genesis version. It is still not as good as the SNES version (in my opinion).
