Mortal Kombat II Sega Genesis Review - RIDDICT'S CLASSIC ARCADE #9 #sega #genesis #mk2
Mortal Kombat II was released on the Sega Genesis in 1994. The arcade to console port was rushed and it shows. Poor animations, lack of arcade combos and more made the game suffer. While some fun can be had with the game especially with its deep cheat code menu, it did not live up to the hype surrounding it. MK2 was the most anticipated Arcade to home release that year, and unfortunately the Genesis version was the weakest of the group.
When MK3 came out on the Genesis it was really well done, proving that so much more could of been done with the MK2 port.
