I'm trying out Mortal Kombat IX/9 (PS3) on my computer, connecting it through an external device named Aver Live Gamer Portable, I've connected this device to the PS3 as well as to the TV and to the computer - then I'm using a bought and paid for program on my Windows 7 PC named XSplit to stream the game through the device - and finally I'm using a recent version of Bandicam to record while streaming the game - and the new version of Bandicam is much better than the old and allows me to connect external devices, XSplit and such to it.

This is Chapter 4: Liu Kang and Chapter 5: Jax ending with the beginning of Smoke's Chapter.

Unlike on the PS4 I also needed a HDCP splitter to bypass the copyright of the HDMI-cable - because the PS3 is a BlueRay-player so the HDMI-cables came with copyright protection in otder to prevent people from streaming BlueRay movies on their Playstation 3. Streaming games should be fine though.

I've played this game before on my channel in multiplayer online battles way back in 2011-2013. I originally bought the game in 2011 when it released and have owned it since. I have finished the entire game in the past!.

Edit: FUCK - the sound wasn't recorded for some reason, I did have sound while playing so this is an issue of the Bandicam-recorder not recording it for some reason.
