240p and 480p MISSING:

If you noticed that both 240p and 480p video resolutions are missing, the problem is not on my end, but it's been reported by many and acknowledged by YouTube:

MISTAKES WERE MADE:

1. Sorry, the Blood Code is 2, 1, 2, down, up. Not "up, down" as I say several times, even while doing it. Not sure what that was all about, a senior moment, perhaps?

2. I refer to PAL as "panel" at one point. Just a silly slip of the tongue, or yet another senior moment.

3. The game is running here at 60Hz, and not the European 50Hz. I cannot record PAL consoles that run below 50Hz (PAL SMS runs at 49.7Hz) with my camera, as the shutter speed doesn't go below 50 while on 50fps (PAL) mode. The only way is to record the footage at 30fps, which is terrible. Otherwise, I would have most likely played this game at PAL50.

That being said, I had it confirmed recently by a viewer in Brazil what I had already suspected: this game was released in Brazil, where both the Master System and the Mortal Kombat franchise were extremely popular. In fact, Mortal Kombat 3 for the Master System was a Brazilian exclusive release on the SMS. Now you may look up a PAL/NTSC map and see that Brazil is a PAL country, but don't be fooled, Brazil used PAL-M, which runs at 60Hz, not 50Hz.

So in other words, this game was not an European exclusive after all, and was indeed released in a 60Hz region, so playing it as such, speed issues or not, is still historically correct, especially considering how big of a market Brazil was for this particular console.
