Remember back in 2015 when I finish things with Tremor? Guess what, it’s back and I’m here to make sure to cover the new stuff.
Up first is Triborg, a cyborg that carries the combat data of three previous bots of the Cyber Initative… or should we say four.
Triborg’s a unique character as each variation provides a different playstyle. It makes sense since he’s a robot and all. Cyrax (LK-4D4) gives Triborg access to Cyrax’s moves such as the plasma nets, bombs, teleport and an air throw. Smoke (LK-7T2) is a mix of his Cyborg (MK3) and human forms (MK9). He has a spear, which he can use to grab and pull enemies toward him. In addition he can use smoke as a teleport and at times an attack to strike at his opponent. Sektor (LK-9T9) is straightforward with missiles, teleport uppercuts and flamethrowers. What do you expect? It’s pretty cool. Oh and he has a hidden fourth variation, Cyber Sub-Zero (LK-52O). It’s the same as it was in MK9. Only difference is of the ice attribute and he can freeze enemies. He also has access to drones that can give his freeze attacks additional properties. If you want to get technical you’ll have to work hard for it since his combos in that variation are kind of meh.
Overall, Triborg is a unique character with variations that give you a lot of options. Of course what you do is of your choosing and I know you’ll make the right one.
