Normally if you lose to him the game just continues to the next area. But you can beat him. Takes a bit a patience and proper hardening. Beating him gives you the Glimpse of Reverie item, which I show in the end of the video. Using it grants 15 Glimpses which is super useful as you can get a couple Shell upgrades with it from the Sip lady. But he takes too long to beat imo. A couple mistakes and youre out. Enjoy the fight :)
