Moth Lake Demo - Creepy Stuff/Deaths
48Some highlights of the horror elements in the demo of Moth Lake and the various ways you can die at this moment. A kid goes missing and a group of kids gotta investigate and almost certainly find themselves way in over their heads!
It does a great job setting the atmosphere and I'm looking forward to the full game. My only criticisms are that controls feel a bit stiff, the flickering lights do seem a bit distracting at times, and there doesn't appear to be any cool unique death animations in the demo. Like, c'mon game, show me something terrifying, possibly with the splattered blood conveniently spelling out "Game Over".
This kind of felt like it had Maniac Mansion vibes but from the description you get an immediate game over if someone dies so presumably there's no deaths barring multiple endings and bleak downer endings.
