In spite of Cumberbatch’s claims to the contrary, Kevin Feige has said that strange IS happening. Matter of fact according to what he told cinema blend, it is in early development.
Spider-Man: Far From Home
Yes that is the title. Sony confirmed it after Tom Holland “leaked” it on his IG. Perhaps our mysterious reddit leaker was at least correct about the setting of the movie.
X-Force
Drew Goddard told Cinema Blend that once his current project is in theatres (Bad Times at the El Royale) THEN he will begin production on the continuation of the Deadpool story. In a different interview with /Film Goddard said this:
“The answer is, I don’t worry about the jokes. I just don’t. I worry about the characters, the story, and trust that we’ll make it funny. I did this show The Good Place, and I’ve been very lucky because I work with [creator] Mike Schur and I know, ‘Oh, these are the funniest people on the planet.’ So when I do anything like that, I just worry about the character, the emotion, and the story, and then I go call them and go, ‘Make it funny now!’ With Ryan, the same thing. Ryan Reynolds is so funny. You don’t stress out about it. It’s always easier to add jokes. It’s impossible to add emotion.”

Todd McFarlane was thinking out loud with Comic Book.com about the potential of a cross over. There is a whole quote that we won’t get into because it is a what if scenario at best. The important part is that we are getting to the point in comic book movies that the books themselves were at in the 90s… is that a good thing this time?

Jordan Peele is actively pursuing making a live action version of the 90s cartoon. But Disney isn’t the most excited about the idea. They seem to be dragging their feet in hopes that he will move on and they won’t have to say no.
Mortal Kombat
With James Wan’s Aquaman nearing theatrical release, there are rumblings that his production company has been moving the gears forward for his reboot of the Mortal Kombat film franchise. It seems that the bulk of the filming is likely to take place in Chicago. With other locations scouted in Australia and New Zealand to name a few.
