Here is the First Match up of the Panzerliga Tournament 2020
Day 22 last day

(I have started my 2nd match up, and have recorded a bonus playthrough with another player who was in the tournament that I will start posting when this is finished. He lives near me, and I am hoping to meet him eventually.)

Ok I finished him off as the Axis, now all that is left is to hold him off for the remaining turns. Cracks are showing up all over in my defense as he pushes forward. If he had 10 more turns I would be a lot more worried, but as it stands victory is assured.



Here is victory as I finish off Moscow. Now to hold him back as the allies and I win both sides. :D

All I have left is Moscow, and as such I begin to really relax my effort to hold back my rush to just finish him off. He put much too much stock in holding me back at Moscow. I am crushing him, but he is beginning to collapse my hold on the center, finally.

Now I am pressuring Moscow as the Axis and feeling confident of victory in the next couple to 3 rounds. As the allies there are cracks beginning to show in my defense, but he is still having a tough go of it.

I am moving forward quickly as the axis. As the allies everything is going well, except the Northern flank where he catches me unguarded, need to plug holes.


Here the plan keeps coming together. You see the strategy really taking shape and paying off dividends as I kill or surrender units where I can while positioning myself to delay him as long as possible.

You can already see the errors in my opponents play. You need to kill units much more than injure them. Replacements are cheap, new units not so much.


I continue to move forward where as he is not advancing at all. Frankly I am surprised at how well I am holding him back. My units suck, but they are doing a marvelous job at hampering his advance.
