MRT Yellow Line Timelapse (Minecraft 1.2.5)
62Here's a timelapse of the Yellow Line, the 3rd line out of four transit lines that I'm building on a large map for the upcoming "official" Minecart Rapid Transit multiplayer server.
The server is not ready yet, as I still need to build the other lines and setup plugins and such. I plan to have four lines in total (Blue, Green, Yellow, and Red), all intersecting at the Central/Spawn station, seen at 3:19 in the video. The Green and Yellow lines also meet up at another junction at 0:34 in the video. The server will be in creative mode and will be public, but visitors will initially only be able to ride the lines and roam around. I hope to set up a way for people to apply for builder status, so they can go build some epic cities, towns, and other landmarks near the existing stations. Most of the stations are also initially unnamed, so I'll leave up to the server members to suggest names for the stations once some structures have been built.
There are 25 stations on the Yellow Line, running from the northeast to the southeast portions of the map in a "U" shaped route via Spawn Station. It takes about 22 real-life minutes to travel from one end of the line to the other, and this timelapse is sped up 4 times faster.
