The Twin Unicorn is aimed squarely at the high-gain market and features two independent channels, each with its own volume and gain control, as well as three distortion modes. You'll also find four-band EQ and a toggle to let you shift the mid-focus between 500, 250 and 800Hz. The Twin Unicorn's gain range stretches from medium gain (middle toggle position) through to super-high gain (either of the top or bottom positions). It has a very low noise floor and a first class PCB build, reminiscent of the best production pedals I've been fortunate enough to demo.

I first noticed MSG Guitars at the 2014 Shanghai Musikmesse. They were one of the few standout Chinese companies who were producing high quality pedals with a point of difference and are definitely one to watch.
