An unabashed tip o' the hat to the famous RAT distortion pedal, the R3 started life a year or so ago as a super hot-rodded PTP version of that pedal. It sounded amazing and looked incredible so naturally it sold very well, especially considering its more than reasonable pricing. In 2015 the R3 has had some overhauls including improvements to the gain, EQ and tone facilities as well as internal trimpots for clipping shape and mid-scoop/fatness. It sounds better than ever and I sure had a ball making this video. If you're looking for a hot rat, this is your pedal.
