After viewing zigg4d's video on him using his Grappler Rugal against Izuko, it had reminded me of something I saw a while back. I saw that this specific character used Kula as a base for it's sprites, and I remembered the series from which it's based off of. The one I tested out was a beta version, and upon looking back into it...It seems a final version of it was released a while ago. Yeah, I'm rather slow on certain things, but better late than never I suppose.

Anyways, the character I speak of is Lucy Diclonius by Crucifix. She comes from the series Elfen Lied, though to be honest I haven't seen too much of it. I have no gripes against the character itself...but this incarnation of her is just sloppy.

For starters, Lucy's clns are all over the place. Her basic attacks surround her and take up a good 1/3rd of the screen. Not only does this give her ridiculous priority, it makes her practically unapproachable through normal means. Hell, she even has an infinite in one of her basic moves. She has a few physical moves, such as a dashing attack of sorts and a few kicks and punches, but even this has a flaw in it. One of her kicking moves requires you to block high against it, otherwise it will break your guard and set you up for an air combo attack. I also think I even saw some invincibility frames during a few of her dash moves. Lucy also comes equipped with a gun, and two strikers. The gun is very flawed, as it can be easily chained into an infinite, and her strikers are just plain broken. Her little friend with pink hair can stun you long enough for her to set you up into another combo, and the guy in the blue suit seems to enjoy interrupting attacks a lot. Not only do both these strikers seem to be invincible, but she can summon them in a rapid fashion and at any time she wants. So the second they leave the screen, or if Lucy is being attacked herself, her strikers can be immediately called in. Lucy also sports a VERY cheap grab move that can hit you from anywhere on the screen, and send you flying right into her. Lastly, her super moves - thankfully, most of them are blockable, with the acception of her one hit kill move. This thing takes up three super bars and takes up a lot of the ground in terms of it's clns. She also does this fairly quickly, which makes it nearly impossible to get out of the way of it. To top it all off, she has absolutely relentless AI, which can pull off quite a few nasty tricks. If she catches you in a corner, she'll corner rape the crap out of you until she breaks your guard, and it's not pretty when she catches you in a combo either. I will say this as a positive though, the AI is pretty agressive, if a bit annoying however.

All in all, this character needs a lot of work. In fact, she could probably be good if her attacks were modified and toned down a bit, and also given much more cool down time. Honestly, I'd find it a lot more interesting if she fought more with her hands and some other kicking motions, rather than relying on those damn vectors and her strikers for almost every single attack.

I managed to beat her through normal means though, but it wasn't easy due to her beastly AI. I eventually got a bit mad due to the trouble this put me through, and decided to get some payback on her with the second fight you see in the video. I kinda took after a page from zigg4d's book with this one, in terms of the stage and music. I used Final against her for a few reasons, mostly because I found him to be rather effective against her, despite not being able to block.

Like I said before, I have no gripes with the main character, and this isn't meant as an attack towards any of the fans or the series - This is mainly meant to describe my experience fighting her, and with this description, point out a lot of her flaws. As for the fight I did against her with Final, especially that last part of it...I'll admit, I lost my temper with that one. It's mainly due to the way her AI works, and the corner rape crap she tries to pull.

Also, about the last match in this video - It was done for joke purposes. The character is actually called "Cheapest KFM!!!" - I just changed his name to what you see here in relation to a certain YTP I saw, which you can see here:

Also, to give credit where credit is due, the line - "There's no escape, from the wrath of Diabetes!" was recorded from "Robotnik, She Wrote", a Youtube Poop by Boogidyboo, which you can see here:

Anyways, that's about it for now. As always, I hope you guys enjoy the video. ^^
