It's been awhile but I'm back with some more Eternal Tournament Series action. This is the ONLY match I will be uploading from this particular weekly tournament. My round 1 opponent was Mouche piloting the hot new control deck that's taken over the meta: TJP Chalice. Meanwhile, I'm running an Elysian Midrange list I modified awhile back for tournament use. This tournament took place on May 13th, 2017 - so a little over a week ago.

I've got to admit that I did awful in this tournament due to several factors and deservedly so to be perfectly honest. Entering in completely cold with no preparation and not even playing a single game with Elysian Midrange in awhile led to my poor performance. Having no knowledge of TJP Chalice and no experience playing against it didn't help (it hit top 10 Masters days before this tournament). I dropped out when Swiss was barely half over. It was for the best because I made a HUGE blunder with the sideboard that I submitted that no one caught at the time, so it would've been really bad if I actually ended up doing well in Swiss anyway. And no one should blame Mouche for what happened towards the end of the series since I was just as much in the wrong. This was the best round of all the ones I played and it was a great series. Hopefully you guys still enjoy it. This week might be all Eternal. If it is, I'll see you Thursday. If not, I'll see you Friday with some more tournament games from this past weekend.
