Multiple Nukes - Are 81 any better than 9?
15The game is Supreme Commander Forged Alliance. The aim to find out if 81 nuclear explosions are any more spectacular than just a few.
I noticed that when dropping multiple nukes the animations stack, making the blasts look extremely powerful. I wanted to see if the damage and blast radius stacked too. My testing showed that damage does, but the blast radius doesn't. The best part of having so many nukes though is just how friggin' awesome it looks! Especially when you launch from 81 silos simultaneously.
The map is Betrayal Ocean. 81km square. The explosion at the end is about 5km approx. in diameter. (actual blast radius is normal size, it just looks huge).
Anyway, this video is showing you what it looks like to drop 9 nukes on an island, and 81 (81 omg!) on a Commander.
