MultiVersus - So Long, and Thanks for All the Jank
0How odd that right after a video showing how badly this game runs on PS4 it would turn out MultiVersus was itself being killed off. At the end of May MultiVersus will be shut down and taken off of stores, with online servers going with it. It's always sad to see a game go, even if it's a frustrating, unbalanced mess....so let's get salty over this game one more time, for old times sake.
This game had a lot of potential and I was really enjoying the beta up until a point but...well, I guess it just wasn't in the cards. Between aggressive monetization, poor balance and netcode, baffling character choices and rumors of poor leadership, this game sadly snatched defeat from the jaws of victory....TWICE.
RIP to MultiVersus. You were a game, at the very least.
As I say at the end here, next week I'll likely try to cover the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves open beta and from there...who knows what else. See ya real soon!
