MUSHA Aleste BEST SHMUP on Sega Genesis Mega Drive Cover Arts Regional Differences
4Musha Aleste: Fullmetal Fighter Ellinor (武者アレスタ), was released in 1990 for the Japanese Sega Mega Drive. In 1991, the Sega Genesis got the game released as well but under the name M.U.S.H.A.: Metallic Uniframe Super Hybrid Armor. This shoot-'em-up was developed by Compile and published by Toaplan in Japan and by Seismic for the US market. Unfortunately, Europe never seen any release of thsi great shooter.
This game is part of the Aleste games series even if it changes a lots of elements.
In Japanese, "musha" (武者) means "warrior" and/or "samurai". It stands for this aesthetic.
